Torque Tube Spring Peninsula Tour to Barmah Park Restaurant

After the seemingly endless winter join the Torque Tube Register for a tour around the leafy hills of the Mornington Peninsula. We’ll be driving from bay to bay, up and over the hills, meander along the esplanade and climb Arthurs Seat.
Meeting at the Coolstores in Moorooduc, grab a coffee (Master Jack opens from 8:30) and a catchup with your fellow ‘tubers. If steam is your thing (and you’re not overheating) arrive a bit earlier and explore the Mornington Tourist Railway on the other side of the road.
After the briefing we set off over the hills to join the Nepean Highway and take in views of the bay and city from Olivers Hill. Heading south to join the Esplanade, onto and over Arthurs Seat, continuing south we’ll take a short comfort break in Flinders before turning back north through the hills to our destination at Barmah Park. Lunch will be served from 12pm with the option to move to the cellar door to continue conversations afterwards.
Its worth pointing out that this is a shorter format social run, with one drive leg and an earlier lunch with the intention of making the afternoon available. The roads in the area whilst scenic can be a little slow with other traffic, no records for the highest average speed will be set today. Theres also 60kph zones and unmarked police cars, so it’s an opportunity to cruise and enjoy the sights.

Meeting Time: from 8.30 am, briefing and introductions at 9.30, departure after briefing.
Lunch: Barmah Park, 945 Moorooduc Hwy, Moorooduc
Cost: $72 per person. 2 course alternate drop lunch. Drinks at lunch and coffee to own expense
