993/964 Run to the Boathouse Restaurant Lake Daylesford
Sunday 5th May 2024
Please join us on this run where our leisurely drive celebrates the end of Victorias glorious Autumn. Then relax over lunch in the tranquil and enchanting stillness of Lake Daylesford.
Nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range of Victoria, Daylesford and its neighbour Hepburn Springs have exceptional points of interest, many due to its rich cultural and architectural history brought to the area by Swiss-Italian gold miners. Also nearby are Cricket Willow (makers traditional cricket bats), Mineral Spas to enjoy, superb vineyards for wine tasting and much more. Why not arrange and stay a night to two after our run.
Our run starts at Hungry Jack’s Mickleham from where we head north west to Newham General Store for a relaxing morning tea break before heading to our final destination the Boathouse Restaurant Lake Daylesford. This picturesque building on Lake Daylesford, was back before 1950, the original boathouse. Renovated to now what is a small and intimate restaurant with stunning views.
