We finished our first year of Wine and Food Appreciation Dinners on a high with a trip to Italy for the “Mille Miglia” via Grossi Florentino. For our first dinner of 2023 we are staying close to home to celebrate the food and wine of our own state, Victoria, and the home of Porsche Club of Victoria.
Our next event will again be in the heart of Melbourne and where better than the home of another automobile club – the RACV City Club. Familiar to many PCV members (hopefully not for their breakdown assistance) the RACV City Club is the flagship of the organisation with extensive member facilities including several high-quality dining options.
With an extensive cellared wine collection renowned throughout Australia, we are set to enjoy a wonderful evening of local produce matched to Victorian wines. The RACV City Club boasts a range of exclusive private dining rooms and PCV members will enjoy a relaxed environment which encourages good conversation and the enjoyment of great food and wine.
Our evening will commence with canapés accompanied by top quality Victorian sparkling wine. This will be followed by a three-course meal and a selection of wines from various celebrated wine regions of our state. We’ll be able to choose our meals from a small selection of dishes and savour local wines that you may not have tasted before, but which will encourage you to visit our wine regions when you next take your Porsche for a weekend drive. The sommeliers of the RACV City Club will introduce our evening’s wines and explain why these particular wines are some of their favourites.
Our event can accommodate a maximum of 30 members and guests.
Singles and couples are very welcome. Please book via the link where you can also submit dietary requests as dietary requests on the night cannot be accommodated. We will have a wait list to enable the maximum number of members to attend.

Arrival time: Canapés and sparkling wine will be served from 6:30PM.
Address: RACV City Club, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne. The venue is readily accessible by public transport.
Cost: $221 per person. Includes 4-course dinner with matched wines. All other beverages are charged on consumption to the individual guest.
Dietaries: Please specify dietary requests when booking as the venue will be unable to adjust the dishes on the evening.
Maximum number of guests: 30 persons due to venue size.
Refunds: No refunds will be provided for cancellations if a replacement from the waiting list isn't found.

Driving Obligations: This event is being conducted under the auspices of the Porsche Club Victoria. PCV requests that members do not drive to this event due to the likely consumption of alcohol. Various forms of transport are readily available due to the central location of the venue.
