Cayenne/Macan Run to the Wine Collective

It was so nice that we’re doing it thrice: the third and final SUV run for 2022! In March we explored the mountainous twists and turns to the north-east of Melbourne, and in July we enjoyed the ocean views and rolling hills of the south-east. This time we’re giving the north-west some love!

We’ll meet in Gisborne and make our way to Mount Macedon for morning tea and scenic views/photos via Riddles Creek, Romsey and Lancefield. The second stage will take us down the mountain and on a picturesque loop via Woodend before arriving at The Wine Collective for a well-deserved lunch.

With a stunning 180-degree view of Mount Macedon and surrounds, we’ll have a two-course alternate drop of Scallops or Stracciatella for entrée, and Duck Maryland or Premium Steak for mains.

In lieu of dessert (who needs the extra calories?) we’ll have a Door Prize Draw for an assortment of goodies to take home and enjoy until the next SUV Run.

 

DATE: Sunday 4th December 2022,

MEETING TIME: 9am for a 9:30am briefing and 9:40am departure

MEETING LOCATION: McDonalds Gisborne - 25A Roberson Street, Gisborne 

REST STOP: Mount Macedon ~10:50am to 11:30am (Morning tea at own cost. Opportunity for sight-seeing and photos at The Cross and lookouts)

LUNCH:  ~1:10pm at The Wine Collective - 652 Black Forest Dr, Macedon VIC 3440

COST: $78 per person; includes: 2-course lunch of alternating dishes [NB* Drinks at own cost]
