Combined Modern 911 & GT3/RS Registers Run
Templestowe to Port Melbourne via Country Victoria

For this Modern 911 run we will be joined by the GT3/RS group so there will be a selection of some wonderful Porsches. This event is open to all PVC members or prospective members that wish to join us. No matter what Porsche model you cherish you will have a great day out!
Since it’s been a while since our last run, it’s time for another to get out and enjoy our Porsches and a catch up.
The meeting place is the Power Plant Cafe Templestowe. To start with a meet and greet and some chat time with members you may have not met before we start on another adventurous day out...like the sound of that, adventurous it will be.
The run will start by heading north along some very inviting country roads with some sight seeing to keep the passengers occupied. Travelling through Eltham, Kangaroo Ground (I’ve never seen Kangaroos), St Andrews and Kinglake. From there we start towards the west through Whittlesea before we reach a well deserved break at Wallan. Some more chatting, coffee, tea or water which ever you prefer (coffee for me though, thought you needed to know!).
Once we have had our rest we continue west passing through Darraweit Guim (it means where 3 Creeks meet, a little history. I didn’t know that, who said you’re too old to learn?) and Bolinda. From there south onto the Western Ring Road with a little detour along the way. I know, it’s the Ring Road, thought you’ll be excited, you don’t have to thank me I was thinking of everyone when I mapped it. To the West Gate Fwy before arriving at a central location at Pier 35 Fishermans Bend, which is a lot closer drive to home (thoughtful). For all those fishermen I don’t think there’s much fishing there!
Since we’re having a combine run I suggest you book early to avoid missing out.

Time: 8:30am meet & greet for 9.15am briefing/departure
Coffee Break: Open House Cafe 51 High St Wallan (Several cafes on the strip)
Lunch: Pier 35 Bar & Grill 263-329 Lorimer St Port Melbourne (parking available inside the marina). Included is a two course meal with alternate drop. Mains - Scotch Fillet & Deep Sea Dory Fillets (Shared Salad on Table). Dessert - New York Cheese Cake & Chocolate Souffle with vanilla bean ice cream
