PCV Club Night

Outdoor BBQ at Fox Collection, Classic Car Museum, Docklands

Tuesday 15th February from 6.30pm

The Fox Classic Car Collection will be the setting for our First Club Night of 2022.

Housed in the historic Queen’s Warehouse, the collection contains dozens of the world’s most rare and prestigious vehicles. These cars have been collected over a 50-year period by Lindsay Fox, Founder of Australian logistics company Linfox, and donated to a Trust to raise funds for charity and for the public to enjoy.

Our event will be based outdoors except for the optional indoor museum tour.  Our caterers will be set up in a marquee in the car park, which will include some undercover seating, with some casual seating outside of the marquee. If you definitely want to be able to be seated during the night, members are encouraged to bring their own picnc chair to ensure a seat.

Lindsay has a passion for classic vehicles, with his collection including models from Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Volkswagen, Ford, Rolls Royce, MG, Lexus and Nissan between 1923 and 2020. Some vehicles have previously been owned by Ringo Starr, Bing Crosby and Bob Jane to name a few.  The collection is steeped in history, one off prototypes and cars that dreams are made of.

Museum Tours: As the Museum has a maximum tour group size of 200 people, we will be conducting two tours on our night, the first one commencing at 7.45pm and the second one at 8.15pm. Both conducted on a first come, first vew basis. Face masks must be worn inside the museum.

Catering: Dinner will be a BBQ style commencing at 7.00pm.  Drinks available from the bar area at 6.30pm.

All attendees will need to check-in via the Vic Services App and show their Covid Vaccination certificate to gain a wrist band for access to food/drink service and museum tour.

Both new and prospective members are always most welcome.
