First 911 Run for 2022

Sunday 23rd January

Templestowe to Panton Hill

Hope everyone had a good start to 2022 and have been exercising those ponies in the garage. All the Best for the New Year which I’m sure it will be.

To make it even more interesting and a taste of what’s to come. I would like to invite all Modern 911 (996 onwards) owners and all other interested member’s and new members to the first Register MOD911 Run for 2022. This run is only the beginning to what’s installed and what'll be an amazing year with Club events. I know it depends how things unfold with this Covid spread.

A great day has been organised to explore and enjoy our Porsches along some very nice North/Eastern parts of country Victoria. The day is not just about driving our Porsches but also a get together with members we haven’t seen since last year. Now that sounds like a long time.

We start by meeting in Templestowe at Malissa's Cafe Bar to start what will be a very enjoyable day. From there we head East along some well known spots like Warrandyte and yes how can we not go past along Christmas Hills and Yarra Glen. Passenger's/navigator's can enjoy the scenery while the drivers concentrate on the road. Through to Healesville where we head North before reaching our first stop at Kinglake for a coffee or tea if you prefer. This will give us a break and have a chat and discuss that this time Kon decided not to take us through any road repair's scenery. Thank you to some well meaning members, some will be smiling by now.

The second part of the run we had North again to Flowerdale before back down South on our final stretch through Hazeldene, Kinglake West and back to Kinglake. Just in case some members missed the opportunity for some sight seeing earlier on. As we continue heading South through St Andrews and to our final destination Panton Hill Hotel.

Now that’s got to inspire you to get the Porsche out of the garage or where ever you keep them and enjoy what will be another great run.
