Truffleduck at Balmoral


Please note that the requirement to be double vaccinated against Covid has come in since the original event opened.  All attendees will need to show proof of this on the day via the Vic Services app.

NOTE: This run was originally scheduled as the Spring run on the 12th September 2021.  It was postponed due to Covid lockdown.  All existing bookings have been carried over to the new date.

Truffleduck Is one of the premier reception centres in Geelong having a reputation for providing outstanding food in a beautiful location next to the Moorabool River at Fyansford.

On arrival you will have the choice of bubbles, wine, beer or soft drinks with a range of finger food being served in the gardens at Truffleduck (weather permitting). This will be followed by two courses, main and dessert served in the dining room under a canopy overlooking the gardens. Tea and coffee will be served at the table 

The price of the lunch is inclusive of all the above. A wine list will also be available at the table with further drinks available to purchase at your own expense.

The run will commence from BP Rockbank Service Centre taking us on a scenic drive around the Brisbane Ranges towards Stiglitz, Maud and Bannockburn.  Enjoy some interesting Porsche friendly roads where we can embrace the vast beauty of country Victoria heading towards our lunch destination. There is various parking available around Truffleduck. Return journey for Melbourne participants is straight forward with Truffleduck located close to the M1 Princes Freeway.

Lunch will include drinks on arrival with finger food, main course and dessert to follow with coffee or tea. Please notify Carly of any special dietary requirements.

Cost $75 per person. Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to stop at a CFA for morning tea. We therefore suggest you have breakfast, tea or coffee at Rockbank before you commence the run.

Drinks (wine and beer) to own account will be available by ordering at the table.

Places are limited to 100 people so please confirm early. Unfortunately, once the quota has been reached no more reservations will be accepted.

REFUNDS: Please note: No refunds will be made after bookings close unless we can replace your booking from a waiting list (it will not be possible for the Club to recover your payment after this date).

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS AT SOCIAL RUNS

The following regulatory and hygiene practices will be required of all attendees at Social Runs (including Register Runs), until further notice:

Government requirements:

Federal, State, Territory and Local Public Health guidelines are required to be followed in the running of all Social Runs.

Monitoring:

All attendees, including entrants and officials are required to pre-register for the event; noting the limit on permitted numbers. All attendees are encouraged to use the “COVIDSafe App”. A list of registered attendees and officials will be provided to Venue(s) Staff. Only authorised attendees will be allowed access into Venues.

Staff at Venues may be equipped with thermometers to test each and every attendee to guard against entry of possible carriers of COVID-19 Virus. Anyone with a raised temperature will not be allowed entry into a Venue. Please co-operate with staff at Venues and any directions from club officials.

Hygiene practices:

Appropriate signage, where provided, throughout Venues must be adhered to in all instances. Reminder public address announcements will be made reminding attendees to practice appropriate hygiene. Hand sanitisers, wipes and sprays will be available throughout all Venues.

Social distancing:

Under no circumstances are attendees at Social Runs to enter non-public areas of Venues and must demonstrate social distancing requirements and remain 1.5 metres apart. Venues will arrange seating where appropriate to comply with this requirement. Masks should be used in accordance with government rules.

Briefing/Event Communication:

All pre-event briefings will be conducted at the beginning and during the event and/or via electronic means such as this communication.

Officials:

A nominated official of the Porsche Club of Victoria will be present at the event to ensure attendees adhere to these COVID-19 Requirements.

Attendees please follow all instructions given by Club Officials and Venue Staff during the event, as they have your best interests at heart.
