In conjunction with Porsche Cars Australia, Porsche Club of Victoria is proud to announce dedicated Porsche Club Sprint sessions as part of the Shannon's Festival of Motorsport at Sandown over three days on December 11th - 13th.

The Event is being promoted by Motorsport Australia and organised by the MG Car Club Victoria (see Media Release 9 November 2020 at motorsport.org.au).

The event will include the following categories:

  • Porsche PAYCE & Michelin Cup
  • Porsche 944 Challenge
  • Formula Free
  • MG Racing Australia
  • Excels
  • BMW E30
  • Club Sprints

Porsche Club of Victoria has been allocated:

  • 45 minutes on Friday
  • 60 minutes on Saturday
  • 60 minutes on Sunday

Competition Class

Evidence of prior experience or satisfactory completion of a high-performance driver-training course is a Club requirement for timed Competition classes. All competitors will require a Dorian transponder to be fitted to their cars for official times to be recorded. Please make sure they are properly fitted and charged. Dorians can be hired for the day but must be booked at the time of entry.

Garages & Carports

Will not be available at this meeting.

Numbers limited

Numbers are strictly limited (20 per day). Once the limit is reached no further entries can be accepted.

Covid precautions

The Event will be conducted with appropriate Covid precautions in accordance with Motorsport Australia’s Return to Race strategy. Details of requirements for Competitors will be provided prior to the Event. You may need to take action before the event.

Competition experience

Due to the complicated requirements for this event we require participants to have experience at Sandown and in Porsche Club events. Please contact Competition Director Mark Horton Andrews (details below) to discuss your level of experience if you are unsure.

ENTRY

Entry Fee - $120 this is a reduced entry fee as the balance is being generously subsidised by Porsche Cars Australia.
