     Order for PCV Track Drivers

Note: The use of RACEceiver applies to Timed Groups only. It is not available nor permitted for use by Entree entrants.

Use this 'event' to order your own RACEceiver radio unit for better communication and safety at the track.

RACEceiver radio is a small unit that allows race control to relay instructions to all competitors at the track.

The use of RACEceiver is a mandatory requirement for track events from 2024,

Your Committee will advise whether use of RACEceiver at Haunted Hills and selected events such as skid pan etc, will be required or not.

Please find two information documents attached.

    1. A Q&A available here

    2. A detailed visual with instructions for RACEceiver here

Finally, the Track Committee recommends that each competitor purchases a RACEceiver.

PCV will make a bulk purchase at a favourable price and distribute to each competitor via mail.

Please complete this online RACEceiver Order Form and make prompt payment.

Mod 911 Run - The Black Horse Hotel Bulla

    Sunday 1st June 2025

It's time for another Mod 911 run and would like to invite new and existing members join what will be a great day out. Not only to catch up but for what will be a very enjoyable drive around some of Victoria roads and countryside.

We will start the day by meeting at the famous BP Outbound Keilor , yes, next to the famous Calder Park Thunderdome. Come a little earlier for a meet and greet time, which is always a good way to start the day.

We start our 1st leg by heading west, through Bacchus Marsh, and then head north through Blackwood, Trentham, Tylden. What will be along some enjoyable and interesting roads, as we head East to our break destination at Lancefield for what will be a well-deserved break.

Once we had our rest , we start the 2nd leg heading east, through Kilmore and south to Wallan. From Wallan just to make it interesting back west to Darraweit Guim (I can't pronounce it either) and Bolinda. Yes we are getting close to our finish line as we go south to Wildwood (I like the sound of that) and finally to The Black Horse Inn.

Winton Winter Sprint – Long Track /Short Track

    Sunday 15th June

Sprinting at Winton is exciting - the circuit has a combination of long fast straights and twisty and tight bends. It is known as Australia's Action Track. It is our only scheduled trip to Winton this year so make the most of the day.

We will run on the ”Long Track” (also known as the Sprint track) in the morning and the “Short Track” ( also known as the Club track) in the afternoon.

Experience Required for Timed Sessions: We prefer participants to have in Porsche Club events. Please contact Bill Toohey (motorsport@pcv.com.au) to discuss your level of experience if you haven't run with PCV before.  Evidence of prior track experience or satisfactory completion of a high-performance driver training course is a Club requirement for the timed sessions.

Dorian & RACEceiver:  All drivers (except Entree) will require a Dorian for times to be recorded and a RACEceiver communication devices.  Both are available for purchase or hire from the Club.

Entrée Class: Entree Class will be run at Winton. Entree is the ideal racetrack introduction for new members and those who have not competed before. Entrants in the Entrée class get separate sessions of untimed practice. Mentors will be provided from experienced club members.  All you need is a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence, an approved helmet, suitable clothing (see Supp Regs) and a roadworthy vehicle. Please note Entrée Class numbers are strictly limited.

    Garage & Carport Hire

To be booked with your entry.  Garages $55 or Carports $25

    Saturday Evening Meal

For those arriving Saturday evening in time for dinner, a number of us will gather at the North Eastern Hotel (the Northern) for a meal. If you are solo, the Competition Director (Bill Toohey) has a table booked at 7:00 PM, but if you are in a group, please book directly with the venue.
